Heat is very famous around the Ayurveda,like if anyone have swelling around hand and legs so they used warm water to reduce that swelling.

Basic heat therapy, or thermotherapy can involve the use of a hot water bottle, pads that can be heated in a microwave, or a warm bath.




What is does to skin?

Heat promotes muscles relaxation and can increase the range of motion.

It opens blood stream to increase blood flow, relaxes muscles and help alleviate pain.


When to use it!...

Heat is a great way to loosen up tight joint and joint muscle.It is also a good method of pain relief for tension headaches and other chronic conditions.Always wait 48-74 hours 

Before considering heat therapy.


How to use the heat for body?

1.Treat for no longer that 20 minutes at a time .

2. Do not lie on a hot pack to avoid falling asleep and potentially burning youself .

3. Don't use heat ,if you have no feeling on affected part of body.

4.Never use heat if their is swelling or bruising 

5.Donot apply heat directly to skin use a thin towels before use it.

6.Donot use heat if you have poor circulation like diabetes

7.wait one hour in between heat treatment.

Advantages to body:

Heat treatment promotes blood flow and helps muscles relax. Use for chronic pain.

Alternating heat and cold may help reduce exercise-induced muscle pain.

Never use extreme heat, and never put ice directly on the skin.
